Provision Your PlantSight Project
Before you
populate the iModel with data from either E3D or Smart 3D, you first need to
provision the iModel with the appropriate schemas. This is currently
accomplished by using OpenPlant Project Administrator with the schemas coming
from an installation of OpenPlant Modeler. You need to first have the latest
releases of these installed.
- Open OpenPlant Project Administrator and make sure that you are logged on with the CONNECT Client.
- Pick the workspace that you want to use (Imperial, Metric or MixedMetric) and then select CONNECT Services ribbon menu. The Associate button should be enabled:
- Click Associate and then search for your iModel.

Select the iModel and click
Associate.
Once the project is associated, the Provision button is enabled:
- Click Provision, and follow the steps in the wizard. Make sure to select the iModel that was previously created.
